Suncor Energy is a world leader in mining and extracting crude oil from the vast oil sands. We have been working with engineers and accounting specialists to improve and implement their Cost Estimation system. It is a huge application developed with VB 6.0 connecting through ADO to Oracle and Access databases. During our successful business relations with Suncor we have converted several heavy Lotus application to Excel spreadsheets. Some other calculations were optimized and automated using Excel spreadsheets.
